This program is perfect for any nature lover and will help develop a deeper appreciation for exotic animals and far-away places, as well as for our local wildlife and habitats. With access to over 100 rescued and adopted exotic animals residing in our public exhibit, as well as to the beautiful property of the Stamford Museum & Nature Center and surrounding woodland preserve, students will receive amazing cross-training as a “Budding Naturalist.” Discover life under the surface of our local aquatic habitats (with nets and fish traps), check our camera trap (for images of elusive forest-dwelling creatures), learn field techniques to make plaster casts of animal tracks, and learn techniques for the safe handling of our rescued ambassadors and field subjects. Programs will run with a minimum of 8 children. Maximum 10-12 children.
