Join Chris Evers, Founder & Director of Animal Embassy, for an exciting look at the phenomenon of invasive species in this country. We'll learn about plants and animals that have been introduced to non-native habitats and have become invasive. We'll also discuss specific cases and the impact that these introductions have had on global ecosystems. In addition to discussing global issues, we will introduce flora & fauna in our own backyard. With live Animal Ambassadors as examples of "Alien Invaders" and introduced species, we will make this fascinating subject come to life. Meet Alien Invaders such as a Monk parakeet, Cane toads, a Green iguana and Red-eared sliders.
After the talk, guests will visit Ambassador wolves as well as the WCC's critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves.
